Peace Mantra or शान्ति मन्त्र (shaanti mantra) are Sanskrit
stanzas which if recited regularly brings peace and prosperity at different levels. Even
listening to these regularly brings peace and wellness. Each mantra is followed by the word
शान्तिः (shaantiH) or peace three times, representing peace at three different levels i.e,
आध्यात्मिक (aadhyaatmika) peace or peace at mental and physical level;
आधिभौतिक (aadhibhautika) peace or peace with five elements - earth, water, fire, air and ether;
and आधिदैविक (aadhidaivika) peace or peace with God to protect us from fury of God and nature.

tejasbinaavadhiitamastu maa vidviShaavahai

May Sun be blissful to us, may Varuna be blissful to us, may Aryaman

Brahman, salutation to O Vayu. You only are the direct Brahman, I shall call you rightousness, I shall call
you the truth. May he protect me, may he protect the teacher. Protect me, protect the teacher.

When Whole from the is Whole taken, what remains is again the Whole.

Oh God, may we here auspicious words with the ears, while worshipping, may we
see auspicious things with the eyes while praising the Gods with steady limbs, may we enjoy a life benificial to
the Gods, may Indra of ancient fame be auspicious to us, may the all knowing earth be propitious to us, may Garuda
the destroyer of evil be blissful to us, may Bruhaspati ensure our welfare.
